I had the job of creating this effect for the board in the car park. This was done in Adobe After Effects.

To get the light ball effect within the board, I used the effect 'CC Ball Action', by using this effect in two different solid layers, i could off centre the second from the original to get the reflection effect within the bulbs.

I added another 'CC Ball layer' onto the text layer and used the 'Glow' effect onto this to get the orange text you see in the picture above.

I was also assigned to do the CCTV footage for the 'reality' parts of the short film.

These were also done in Adobe After Effects by using the 'timecode' text preset for the top left corner, by setting this to midday, it gives the feeling of it being a recording.

For the top right text, this is just a text layer on top of a black solid to say where the camera is set and what date it is.

For the visual representation, I used the effect 'Venetian Blinds', this gives the effects of the static bars going horizontal through the screen. After applying the 'Venetian Blinds', I added the 'Night Vision' effect to this and set the colour to black and white, adjusted the settings for the width of the blinds and the feather of the effects and the CCTV footage was created.
