Modelling: Assets

Once all of the cars had been modelled and finalized I went about modelling the assets for the car park, for example, the mall itself.

I began the assets by creating the mobility scooter for the Grandma. I found the easiest way to model this was to use primitive objects, combining and attaching them together seemed to be the best way to go about creating this piece.
I then went on to do some little bits for around the car park. These included, the ticket machine, the barriers for the beginning of the film, the lampposts which are scattered around the car park and the electronic board which shows the amount of car parking spaces available.
The big asset that I worked on was the mall. I had to keep in mind that there will be windows to the mall and the cars so there will be a lot of reflections, making the windows tinted but still show the reflections so we wouldn't have to make additional assets inside the mall and increase render times.
I went for primitive objects for the base, later I used edge loop tool and the extrude to make the front of the building into a more modernised style.
